  • Cheers is the most nominated series in history with 117. It is followed by M*A*S*H with 109, and Hill Street Blues with 98.
  • Cheers is the second-most winning series in history having won 27 Emmys. First is The Mary Tyler Moore Show with 29, then Cheers with 27, followed closely by Hill Street Blues (26), and The Carol Burnett Show (25).
  • Cheers is tied with The Dick Van Dyke Show and All in the Family for the most "Best Comedy" wins (4).
